As told by God · Revelations

Burdened?

Have you ever felt like the whole world is in your shoulder?
Those question that kept running on your mind, those  “How’s, Why’s and What If’s?”

Why is it always me? Why do I need to carry this?

What should I do? What can I do with this?
How will I be able to? How can I go on?

When you feel like the burden is too much for you to bear,
Remember this 3 things.

First is, Stop Complaining

As humans we have this nature of complaining, whether it is good or bad for us we always have this reasons that keep us from moving forward

Complains like
“Ughh, Again?! I just did this”
“Why me? Why not her/him?”
“I’m tired of this, I’m done”
” I don’t want this, just go find someone else”

Even if your agree or not, we all feel the same right?  We always come to the point when we start complaining, start reasoning and start sinning. Yes, we may not know it but we start sinning when we complain. Most of all, WE HURT GOD.

In Numbers 11 the Israelites kept on complaining such as :
If only we had meat to eat! We remember the fish we ate in Egypt at no costalso the cucumbers, melons, leeks, onions and garlic. But now we have lost our appetite; we never see anything but this manna!

The Israelites were complaining about the manna which the Lord has provided, they were demanding for meat because they got used to it and became impatient with the Lord. Not only that, as you continue reading Moses did the same thing too.

10Moses heard the people of every family wailing at the entrance to their tents. The Lord became exceedingly angry, and Moses was troubled. 11 He asked the Lord, “Why have you brought this trouble on your servant? What have I done to displease you that you put the burden of all these people on me? 12 Did I conceive all these people? Did I give them birth? Why do you tell me to carry them in my arms, as a nurse carries an infant, to the land you promised on oath to their ancestors? 13 Where can I get meat for all these people?”

Moses was honest with the Lord, that’s a good thing but He too complained. He complained because people kept on blaming Him, accusing Him on what is happening on them.

At times when we feel like the world is in our shoulders we start complaining too. We start over thinking. We start worrying. We start wailing. We start blaming other people and we start questioning God. Yes, we do. We forgot how big our GOD is.

Please don’t get me wrong, you can be honest to God without complaining.  And I guess that’s not what God wants us to be, to feel. I’m hoping that we would also learn on what God want us to learn from our experiences.  God wants us to learn on the situation.

Do everything without complaining and arguing.
Philippians 2:14

Give thanks in all circumstances;
for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 Thessalonians 5:18

Second is this,
SHARE THE BURDEN

A burden shared is a burden halved, I remember that quotation that was said to me years ago. It makes sense, in a way that we cannot carry the burden all along. We sometimes share it, like asking for advice, crying out to God, asking for help to friends. No man is an island, if you would keep it all for yourself, wouldn’t it be hard for you?

As Moses was talking and complaining to the Lord, he said one thing that we can all relate to:  I cannot carry all these people by myself; the burden is too heavy for me”

We are like Moses. Whenever we feel like it’s too heavy we say this. In a different way maybe but, it is US.  ” I can’t do this anymore, This burden is too heavy for me

When Moses talked to God and was honest with Him on telling Him that the burden was too much, God responded in a different way

The Lord said to Moses: “Bring me seventy of Israel’s elders who are known to you as leaders and officials among the people. Have them come to the tent of meeting, that they may stand there with you.  I will come down and speak with you there, and I will take some of the power of the Spirit that is on you and put it on them. They will share the burden of the people with you so that you will not have to carry it alone (Numbers 11:16-17)

It’s a great relief to have someone to listen, to have someone understand, to have someone feel what you feel because that is when you really would listen to them, right?

Your friends can give you advice, listen to you, comfort you and that’s a good thing. God minister to us through people and God will use the people around us, so that we can experience His love and Comfort in times of our deepest need, in our deepest pain.

But the greatest help and the greatest comfort can only comes from the Lord.

Instead of isolation as a solution to our pain, on our struggles, we must learn to release the pain that bind us. When you feel like its’ too much, we should know to where we should run to whom we should run to—— that is GOD.

God might use other people to share your pain, your burden, but let us always keep on mind that when we SHARE our BURDENS,  we are fulfilling God’s law.  When God has lightened your burdens, He asks you to do the same for others.

Bear one another’s burdens, and thereby fulfill the law of Christ.
Galatians 6:2

Yet it was good of you to share in my troubles
Philippians 4:14

Third is,
START TRUSTING

Going back to our story in Numbers 11, the Lord said he will provide meat for the Israelites as they were continuously complaining. The Lord saw that Moses was too burdened so He let Him share it to others. As the story goes, Moses asked the Lord once more and was wondering “How can it be possible that they can eat meat?” Would they have enough if flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? Would they have enough if all the fish in the sea were caught for them?”  (see Numbers 11:22)

The Lord answered Moses, “Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”  Numbers 11:23

So it happened that the Lord provided what they needed. Not just for a day, not for a week but for a month! Moses forgot how big our God is, and we do as well.
Sometimes, the mountains that are blocking our way keep us from seeing how BIG God is and we forgot that everything  is just a small thing for the Lord.

He who did not spare his own Son but gave him up for us all, how will He not also with him graciously give us all things? — not just “this” and “that”, not many, not some. It says ALL THINGS and when He says all things, He will. God mean it! (Romans 8:32 emphasis mine)

What is it that God can’t do for you?
What is it that God can’t save you from?
What is it that makes it heavy that God can’t lift up?

I may not know how heavy, how huge, how burdensome it might be, I still believe that God is with you and will help you in times of need.

I remember when I was told that God places the burden on those who can carry it’s weight.

So, If you are carrying a load, a burden that is more than too much then BE GLAD.
I mean, God is working in you, He is working with you. There is a process you are going through right now. It may be hard, it might be nerve cracking, heart breaking, you may not understand it but be of good courage because God will use that burden to mold you, build you and to make you stronger.

God is faithful, always loving, always caring.  It may be physical, emotional, spiritual and financial, nothing is too hard for the Lord. (Jeremiah 32:27)

Instead of Complaining, can we just TRUST in the Lord with all our heart and lean not on our own understandingon our own reasoning. on our own plans, on our own answers, on our own ways.  (Proverbs 3:5 emphasis mine)

Not that I am speaking of being in need, for I have learned in whatever situation I am to be content. I know how to be brought low, and I know how to abound. In any and every circumstance, I have learned the secret of facing plenty and hunger, abundance and need
Philippians 4:11-12

I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us.
Romans 8:18

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you
1 Peter 5:7

Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.
Matthew 28:11

Remember God’s Promise, God will not leave you comfortless (John 14:16-18) and He will give you rest ( Matthew 28:11)

All my Love,
